GROW CONFIDENT READERS

A phonics curriculum that teachers love to teach and students love to learn.

"It is critical for teachers to understand that systematic, phonics instruction can be provided in an entertaining, vibrant and creative manner."  -Excerpt from the National Reading Panel-

Student success is always top of mind.

Voweletics was designed around four key learning imperatives.

imperative_full

The Voweletics team believes an accomplished reading program allows students to build their skills while continuing to reinforce the fundamentals. A solid reading foundation is essential for academic success.

We believe such a program must teach, assess and track reading foundational skills in full alignment with national standards and current science of reading research. Students' skills are tracked weekly to prevent any lag time in providing any necessary interventions.

Success in the classroom strongly correlates with student engagement. Students engage when using our innovative, multi-sensory tools that foster joyful learning and simplify the learning-to-read process.

Student learning thrives when a strong home/school connection is established. Parents are provided with our at-home learning portal to access reinforcement activities that coordinate with classroom instruction. Weekly communication channels are provided to create a strong home/school bond.

BUILD

BUILD

A SOLID READING FOUNDATION

Voweletics consolidates the phonetic code into three simple rules

Without a solid understanding of phonics; strong vocabulary, fluency and comprehension are difficult to achieve. This is why strong phonetic instruction is so critical to academic success!

Voweletics builds a complete foundation by consolidating the phonetic code into three simple rules. These rules form the structure for decoding any word and are placed on one chart - the SMART CHART. Each lesson focuses on a component from this chart that readers use for reference until mastery is achieved.

ALIGN

ALIGN

WITH NATIONAL STANDARDS

Voweletics aligns with the US Department of Education's standards for effective reading instruction. Current Science of Reading research continues to substantiate the most effective teaching strategies defined by the National Reading Panel. The Voweletics reading method provides students with a learning advantage with its research based model.

Voweletics is endorsed by The National Right to Read Foundation.

TEACHING MADE EASY

Voweletics provides dedicated support to every teacher.

Voweletics was designed by teachers for teachers. We know that supporting teachers is supporting students! Your school will experience seamless teacher on-boarding, on-demand resources and on-going support from a dedicated Voweletics representative.

On-Boarding

When curating our teacher on-boarding process, our goal was to make certain teachers were not overwhelmed. While we understand this is a natural reaction to a brand new program, we aim to make the transition to this process as seamless as possible. Voweletics provides a series of short, on-boarding training webinars. Teachers quickly gain expertise and confidence using the Voweletics phonetic teaching model.

On-Demand Training

Voweletics training is broken down into small video tutorials that allow teachers to learn on their own schedule prior to the students coming back to school.

What's the great thing about this approach? If something is forgotten, our on-demand library of training materials make it easy for teachers to refresh their teaching instruction.

On-Going Support

Voweletics believes that supporting teachers is supporting students! We want your students to succeed! We offer on-going, e-mail/phone support throughout the course of the school year and staff webinars upon request.

When curating our teacher training, our goal was to make sure teachers were not overwhelmed. Stop guessing at words.

Charting Practice teaches each lesson. In these videos, students will learn how to use the Voweletics method to accurately sound out words.
